Spice Rub:

  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tbsp. oregano (preferably Mexican oregano)
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. lime zest

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°, combine and mix all ingredients for the Mexican rub and coat the ribs evenly. In aluminium foil, wrap ribs with the lime juice and bake for 30-35 mins. After cooking time, coat the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce turning in the process. Continue cooking 15 minutes with the foil open. Let rest 5 minutes and serve!
